just about perfect ....

I had the most amazing weekend. Not perfect but nothing is perfect. This is about as perfect as it will get for now.

The weekend started with me excited to be home hanging out with the kiddos and hubby. But somewhere lurking in the back of my head is that nagging feeling that tempers will flare, chaos will follow, and ends it pure exhaustion.

Surprisingly, we had an almost perfect weekend! I had tons of fun with the kids even though that rendered me exhausted everynight -but oh so worth it. Of course there were moments that one of us would lose it. But those moments were rare and very very short lived.

Even though we didn't go anyway special but esp Ash and I, we had a great bonding time. We have fun walks to the stores, sang songs along the way. Play games of tag at home (me & baby vs. Ash) that ends in giggles and rolling around on the floor. We ate lunch out and took long lazy walks in town chatting, giggling, and singing. Ash even went shopping like a big girl, picking out her own shoes and toys without a hitch.

This weekend was just about perfect...

This is the weekend that set the bar for all the future weekends.
