Since we found out that we are expecting a second end of this year, we've been trying to get Ash used to the idea of having a sibling.
"Ashley, do you want a baby brother or baby sister?"
She thought about it for a few seconds....
"Amira" (Amira is this older girl that Ash adores who occasionally goes to her day care.)
"But honey, Amira is older than you. Do you want a baby brother like Jack or baby sister like Makayla?" (two other kiddies younger than her at her day care.)
She looks at me blankly, without another word, turns around and walks away.
Similar situations have happened several times... quite interesting, isn't it? They always wants to play with the older kids. If only she knows that a younger one, means that she will have more than our dog to order around!

haha. when my mom told me i was getting a brother, i was super excited. only to burst into tears when he arrived because i thought i was getting a BIG brother, not a little one!
my brother's alright. just kidding, he rocks =). i think most people are glad they have siblings.
